Regulatory challenges arise from changing compliance mandates in a global environment marked by diverse cybersecurity laws across countries. To effectively manage cyber security risks, it is crucial to follow established risk management standards, including the systematic identification and evaluation of threats. However, there are shortcomings in research and practices that need improvement.
